GO AWAY WINTER COLD SEASON!!!

I should be thinking about my next 30 Plus Teams Tour of somewhere.

I should even be thinking about the fact that my two favorite hockey teams, the New York Rangers and Vegas Golden Knights are going to be playing tonight in Las Vegas .

I should be thinking about something other than what I’m thinking about now, and that is should I have another bowl of Chicken Noodle Soup and what time do I take another dose of Robitussin again?

Yep, just like last year at this time and the year before that, I’m sick again.

The Winter Cold Season has hit again, and it’s just not in New York City, it’s seemed to hit friends and family in the United States and Canada .

I’m coughing like crazy and sounding hoarse like I just finished yelling at a hockey, football or basketball game.

(Baseball season isn’t here yet, if it was I’d be hoarse ftom that, too.)

Luckily, this time I don’t have to wear a mask like I did last year.

It seems the older you get the worst the cold season is.

Winter Cold Season is bad any year, but this year it seems to be saying , “Oh you don’t like winter, hun? Let me give you ANOTHER reason to hate me,bitches!”

Winter Cold Season is basically the child that played a joke on Mother Nature and y’all know it’s not nice to play any kind of jokes on her.

Thanks Winter Cold Season.

Couldn’t you have come at another time, say like NEVER?

GETTING BACK TO THAT 30 PLUS TEAMS TOUR FEELING

A few weeks ago, I wrote a post on how down I was due to the weather here in New York City, and how I was coping with it.

More like not coping well at all with it.

(Sportsandtravelblog.wordpress.com/2018/03/21-Even-I-Need-Some-Motivation-To-Travel)

The weather, inspite of the big snow storm we got on Easter, has gotten better.

Mother Nature is, for some reason , very mad at the East Coast of the United States and is threatening to give New York City even more snow this week.

It’s April, Springtime for God’s sakes!

I want to do a 30 Plus Teams Tour of the city, especially a Yankees baseball game at Yankees Stadium and tell you all about it, but it’s hard to do that when the games keep getting cancelled due to rain or SNOW!

What’s a Sports Diva who loves to travel supposed to do?

Yes, I’m going to keep watching all those travel videos that YouTube keeps recommending that I should watch.

THANK YOU, YOU TUBE!

I’m loving all these travel blogs that I see on the blogesphere.

Keep on travelling guys, I’m loving it!

Better yet, I am getting out of the house and very soon the 30 Plus Teams Tour to anywhere is going to continue with gusto.

Thanks y’all for going on the 30 Plus Teams Tour with me.

I love my fellow bloggers.

THINKING ABOUT  TRAVEL  WHEN IT’S  A WINTER WONDERLAND OUTSIDE.

Winter is here ,  unofficially .

December  21st  is the first day of winter here in the United  States .

When I look outside my window ,  I see snow.

It looks  really  beautiful  and I can’t  wait  to take some pictures .

Some parts of the United  States  got more snow than other parts as usual .

If I lived down South, let’s  say in the cities of Houston ,  Atlanta ,  or even New Orleans ,  the 2-3 inches of snow that they received  would cause  all kind of panic on the roads and streets of those cities .

However, I live in New York  City  and like other cities in the Midwestern  and Northeast states in the country, the three inches of snow is called  something  else .

We call it, “Nuisance  Snow”.

Some of us play in it when it first comes  down, making snow angels and snow balls to throw at our friends or relatives .

Some of us know how to drive in it when it hits the streets  or highways.

We definitely  know how to walk in it, because you know, it’s  New York  City ,  we’re  in a hurry to get no where fast.

We also know how to shovel and salt that sucker so that we or our neighbors  don’t  slip and fall .

As usual ,  the snow coming down is making me think of one thing.

You guessed  it.

Travel and not just doing a 30  Plus  Teams  Tour  to some place  warm, although going to Tampa  or Miami sounds wicked  good right about  now  as it was 28 degrees Fahrenheit  outside.

Nashville  sounded really good too, until I noticed that “Music City” was getting some snow too .

So much for that idea.

As you can tell ,  you don’t  need a warm sunny day  to think  about  travel.

You can do it anytime  and in any kind of  weather .

Wintertime  should  be  the  time that you really  get those travel juices going and of course,  , you don’t  need to do a 30 Plus  Teams  Tour .

The Carribean, Australia ,  Greece, or New Zealand  are good ideas as is Italy or Israel .

There’s  only three weeks left in 2017, go somewhere .

Just don’t  think about it.

Do a day trip for God’s sake .

Think about your next trip, even if it is  a winter wonderland  outside.
