PICTURES OF WASHINGTON DC PART ONE

When people do their own 30 Plus Teams Tour of Washington DC, they visit the usual spots, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, even the Martin Luther King Memorial.

Many of them even take the Washington DC Metro even though many of us, (the Sports Diva included who visits The District quite often)don’t get the concept of swiping your Metro Card entering a station and then again EXITING a Metro Station.

These pictures are from places that’s known to tourists but mostly locals.

When doing a 30 Plus Teams Tour of Washington DC, aka “The District”, you might want to check out some of these places and get familiar with some of these Metro Stations.

The main terminal in DC for buses and trains. This is on the Red Line Metro
This is the station for the airport closest to Washington DC, but it’s actually in Arlington, Virginia
This is close by the Capitol building and now you’ll see a lot of skateboarders using it to try their newest moves
This station is on the Silver, Orange, and Blue Lines. You’ll find a lot of government buildings here.
The area of Arlington National Cemetery that many tourists rarely see. The Blue Line Metro can take you there
